Fair play to the guy, he does proper tours...! And he's playing ACKWORTH!! Ackworth's the middle of nowhere, it's the outskirts of Pontefract, fer fuxache...
Actually I might go to the Ackworth gig, I can't see many people turning out to that one so I reckon he'd appreciate the support. And the Boot & Shoe's a pretty good pub. Wonder if he needs an opening band?

Yeah, that's a pretty wide range of datez across the UK. I think i'll go to the one in Pontypridd. Loved this guy'z music. Also, i think he iz selling a new 20 song CD only available through the tour also entitled `Acoustica`.

It's all a bit 'How the mighty have fallen' though,
isn't it? I mean, even Ponty-based bands rarely
play Ponty - Hehehe!

You recently mentioned Half Life on the PC.
I can't remember the thread, but my response is thus:

Great, innit? Playing FPSs on consoles and
PCs is like experiencing tape and DVD...
Once sipped, you can't go back to the dirty
stuff. [img]smile.gif[/img]

There's no beating eyes-half-an-inch from the
screen and mouse-and-keyboard-bothering.

Saying that, GTA3 is a bit odd on the PC, because
the game was essentially designed to be played
on TVs, and unless one has a - no doubt, expensive
- 21" monitor, the narrower, resized version
takes a bit of getting used to.

I'll be re-purchasing a PS2 once GTA5 and the
new Gran Turismo comes out.

Az for Half Life. Am loving it... nearly completed it now, but my honest opinion? I prefer a dual analogue controler over the damn keyboard and mouse any day of the week. If the controler iz slow az hell in turning and aiming then i'll just increase the calibration, but i definately prefer the controler mate. I hate the way the damn mouse slipz off the fucking mouse mat in the midst of a battle, also using a bloody keyboard etc... easy enough to master though, i just prefer a controler and my new 32 Inch widescreen and playing Rainbow Six 3 online with Xbox haha! But yeah great game(Had a bit of a dilema with that fucking 3 claw tentacle thing that could hear your movement at first, like a mini boss thing, but once i sussed out to throw grenadez at the opposite end of where you wanted to go etc, it became easier...i say nearly completed it, i have no idea really.. am on the part now where i am riding train cart thingz, shooting switchez to change direction etc if you know what i mean.. and thoze bastard gruntz are hard bastardz lmao). Az for GTA:San Andreas... stroll on. I have seen the pix and read the scoop... lookz ace.
